„Alright“

Hier mal wieder ein Song, den ich vor ein paar Tagen geschrieben habe 🙂

„Alright“

1.Strophe:

I woke up to snowflakes falling down

but this time I couldn´t breathe anymore

what was, – now in the past

knowing this time would never come back

a future so unknown

I tried to listen

but my heart felt quiet and numb

I tried to see

but the world had changed over night

Refrain:

I am not alright

my heart is still healing

and healing takes some time

so I may be broken for a while

but I will find my way back

I will hear my heart again

2.Strophe:

I tried to let my voice shine

but all I did was keeping quiet

they asked me who I am

I didn´t knew it anymore

hiding behind a shadow of myself

they thought I wouldn´t make it

and I knew I wasn´t ready yet

Refrain:

I am not alright

my heart is still healing

and healing takes some time

so I may be broken for a while

but I will find my way back

I will hear my heart again

Bridge:

The last time I watched snowflakes floating from the sky like that

I was alright

today I can´t breathe instead

I got caught in the storm

didn´t know where to turn anymore

But heaven sent me an angel

ready to show me the way

long before I got lost

I didn´t realized it back than

but now I understand

you´re the reason I found my way back

When I was lost you gave me your hand

And as I hit the ground

You helped me finally hear the sound

of my heart quietly whispering

I´ll be alright again

Refrain:

I am not alright

my heart is still healing

and healing takes some time

so I may be broken for a while

but I will find my way back

I will hear my heart again

Outro:

I woke up to snowflakes falling down

Finally, I can breathe again

with you beside me

you´re the reason I found my way back

My heart is still healing

and healing takes some time

But because of you I finally can hear my heart again

I´ll be alright again

I´ll be alright again

"One moment"

„One moment“

„One moment“

1.Strophe:

One moment,

time stands still

Will you remember this?

Cause I will

No one knows how,

life can get crazy

feels like a racing

But I know we will find our way

Refrain:

One moment

one thought

for just one second, please don´t think about tomorrow

remember

when its dark

only the brightest flames have the deepest shadows

and no matter what life will put us through

I´ll be there

Somehow

I know

we will be alright

2.Strophe:

Tomorrow

the whole world can fall apart

when all we have is know

let’s live it out loud

creating moments

that will last forever

something to remember

our dreams will guide our way

Refrain:

One moment

one thought

for just one second, please don´t think about tomorrow

remember

when its dark

only the brightest flames have the deepest shadows

and no matter what life will put us through

I´ll be there

Somehow

I know

we will be alright

Bridge:

I wish you could see yourself the way I see you

then you would be sure that you will find your way

even if I wish you would always be beside me

no one knows

if we have forever

or if forever means just one moment

no matter what life will put us through

we will be okay

Refrain:

One moment

one thought

for just one second, please don´t think about tomorrow

remember

when its dark

only the brightest flames have the deepest shadows

and no matter what life will put us through

I´ll be there

Somehow

I know

we will be alright

Outro:

One moment

time stands still

Will you remember this?

Cause I will

„Be Still“

In meinem tatsächlich ersten Beitrag dieses Jahr möchte ich euch den Song „Be Still“ von der amerikanischen Pop-Rock Band The Fray vorstellen. Be Still erschien 2012 mit dem Album „Scars and Stories“. Mit der gefühlvollen Stimme des Frontsängers und einer sehr entspannten und ruhigen Pianobegleitung, vor allem aber auch einem großartigen Songtext vermittelt dieser Song insgesamt ein Gefühl von Hoffnung und Zuversicht.
